“Rushing had always been in the back of my mind during my first year at UTSA, but since I didn’t know much about Greek life, I kind of gave up on the idea. That all changed when I moved in with my high school friend and now line sister, Amanda. She introduced me to Asian Greek life and convinced me to tag along to a few events with her.
Stepping out of my comfort zone, I met so many amazing actives, heard their stories, and got to know them as individuals and completely fell in love with the sorority!
Now, after a year and a half as a Sigma, I can honestly say it’s been the incredible, once in a lifetime experience I always hoped for. It has helped me become more confident, driven, and organized while also blessing me with lifelong friendships and some of the best memories ever.
Sigmas has truly been the sisterhood I never knew I needed, and I can’t wait to see what other amazing experiences are in store!”

I spent the rest of freshman year focusing on school, but Sigmas stayed in the back of my mind. By sophomore year, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and knew I wanted to be part of this amazing organization. Rushing during the fall semester of my sophomore year was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Now, as a junior, I can say I’ve gained so much from this experience, from boosted confidence to becoming a better student. If you're someone like me who wasn’t sure if Greek life was right for you, I would say it never hurts to try. The support system you'll gain and the lifelong connections you build are invaluable. I’ve met some of my best friends, people who genuinely care for me, and I have no regrets. I’m excited for more fun memories with these girls!"

We spent the weekend laughing, playing games, sharing meals, and simply enjoying each other’s company. It was the perfect time to grow closer, create lasting memories, and strengthen our bond. Grateful for these moments that remind us why we’re so lucky to share this journey together. Can’t wait to carry this energy into an amazing semester ahead!
